About Me

My interest in playing music started while at secondary school when I was introduced to the church pipe organ taking lessons from the resident organist and reaching a competent standard. My inspiration came more from Herbie Hancock than Handel so I switched to keyboards and synthesizers and once I left school started performing and recording with many local bands and musicians.

Over the last 17 years I’ve been building my practice as a tutor in electronic keyboard, organ, rock, jazz and classical piano, music technology and I also offer Electric Guitar lessons for beginners.

From my early days as a musician I’ve played at just about every local pub, club and festival as well as at many renowned London venues, The Marque, Kentish Town Forum, CafĂ© de Paris, The Mean Fiddler, Hyde Park and Wembley Stadium to name a few. I’ve also performed around the world in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

It’s fair to say I attended the School of Life in becoming a professional musician but to enhance on my wealth of experience I have gained teaching qualifications from the British Academy of New Music, Yamaha Music, and The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, Trinity College London and Rockschool.
